A successful world competitor and an esteemed international judge,
David is specially recognized for his talent for training apprentices,
who themselves become highly regarded professional farriers and
competitors. At
aged 65, David continues to run a full-time farrier business and
train apprentices with rigor and passion.
It is from these qualities that the clinic participants found
most refreshing, useful and of value to their everyday work. Techniques,
whether for competition or for everyday work, that farriers had
struggled for years, became natural and simple after David's insightful
demonstration and explanation.
A trip of his lifetime, David was awed by the Australian landscape
and hospitality. Back now in England, David vows to build an extension
to his house so he can welcome all his new found friends from
here.
J C Milton appreciates the farriers' attendance to the clinics.
At the same time, we would like to thank Tim Peel and Mike Hew
of the Scone TAFE College, for providing the venue and their assistance,
which supports J C Milton's purpose to support and facilitate
the farrier, through accessibility of product, experience and
knowledge, in advancing the industry towards a widely regarded
professional industry.
